Introduction

The latest HSDPA module of Cinterion’s 3G portfolio is here to afford you easy access to Japan, the world’s third strongest economy and fourth biggest exporter. The HC28 has all the European, Asian (R&TTE, GCF), and US (FCC, PTCRB) approvals, as well as the Jate and Telec certifications necessary for Japan and local operator approval and full roaming capabilities for the rest of the world. Optimized for the Japanese market, the module nonetheless offers HSDPA 3.6 Mbit/s, Tri-Band UMTS/HSDPA, and Quad-Band GSM/GPRS/EDGE.

Software

ActiveXperts SMS Messaging Server is an ActiveX component (i.e. an SDK), and provides SMS and MMS messaging functionality. With this Toolkit, you can send and receive SMS messages via: a GSM phone or modem, an SMPP compliant SMSC provider or HTTP compliant SMSC provider. It supports MMS, either using the MM1 (MMS over GPRS), MM4 (MMS over SMTP) or MM7 (MMS over SOAP/HTML). Samples are provided for Visual Basic .NET, Visual C# .NET (CSharp), Visual Basic, Visual C++ (Visual Studio VC++), ASP, ASP.NET, PHP, Delphi and VBScript.
