Its upload speeds make it particularly suitable for demanding applications such as video surveillance and transmitting large files. 3GPP Type III Advanced Receiver Technology comes as standard with the GTM382, providing increased reliability in weak signal areas. And thanks to triple-band 3G and quad-band 2G support, the GTM382 can be used anywhere in the world. Builtin A-GPS capability allows laptops to integrate location-based services in their devices, providing additional value to their customers. Additionally, PCM voice support allows integration of the module in wireless routers.

Software

ActiveXperts SMS and MMS Toolkit is an ActiveX component (i.e. an SDK), and provides SMS and MMS messaging functionality. With this Toolkit, you can send and receive SMS messages via: a GSM phone or modem, an SMPP compliant SMSC provider or HTTP compliant SMSC provider. It supports MMS, either using the MM1 (MMS over GPRS), MM4 (MMS over SMTP) or MM7 (MMS over SOAP/HTML). Samples are provided for Visual Basic .NET, Visual C# .NET (CSharp), Visual Basic, Visual C++ (Visual Studio VC++), ASP, ASP.NET, PHP, Delphi and VBScript.
